"Habitat" is as important in the world as taxidermy as the mount itself.  By enhancing a mount with lifelike habitat, it can really bring a lifeless mount to life.  You can clearly see the difference it can make in this fawn mount.  In the before picture, we have a fawn that is lifeless.  By statically placing the "habitat", we now see a fawn that is laying quietly on a bed of moss, observing his surroundings, without a care in the world!
